What’s happening with Blogalicious? Is the conference going away?
Let’s say this – we are evolving.
The digital landscape has changed in so many ways since we started Blogalicious nine years ago. We’ve seen trends in blogging and social media come and go over the years, and as an industry, blogging has evolved. What’s happening with Blogalicious is that we’re evolving with it! We’ve worked super hard to bring valuable content, speakers, and networking opportunities, through the conference format to help bloggers and influencers build their platforms and businesses. We will continue to do that, only in a new format.
What does this evolution look like, exactly?
What we’re anticipating is a series of multi-city events that bring you all the good vibes and great content that you’re used to, but for less time and in a more intimate setting. Imagine all of the deep-diving we do on conference VIP Mastermind Day, but more times throughout the year. Stacey will also continue to do what she does best as a leader, coach, and consultant and bring brands, influencers, and entrepreneurs togethers in a purposeful and profitable way.
But why, though? Why now?
Honestly? It’s just time. We are incredibly proud of all we’ve accomplished over the last decade and just like big-sister Shonda knew it was time for Scandal to come to an end this season, we know it’s time to see the Blogalicious Experience flourish in new ways. Will Shonda stop writing shows and being awesome? Of course not! And, neither will we.
In plain English, does this mean 2017 was the last conference year?
For the large, 3-day conference experience? Yes. But don’t clear us from your annual calendar just yet!
We’ve got tons of ideas for ways to continue bringing you some amazing content, learning opportunities, and brand partnerships that we’re still sorting through. Hold tight and stay tuned while define and refine the vision!
What about the Social Suite on Facebook? Is that going away?
Nope! We love engaging with our community of rockstars! We’re a lively bunch and we want to keep it that way. As a matter of fact, we’ll be reaching out to the community through the group and e-mail, to ask for feedback and suggestions on what you’d like to see from us, moving forward. So make sure to keep kicking it with us in the group and sign up for our e-mail list, if you haven’t already. If you have any questions about what you’ve just read, feel free to contact us at info@blogalicious.com.
With Love,
Stacey + Team Blogalicious
