Join Us! Sunday, August 25 @10pm ET: Blogalicious presents #365BlackAwards Twitter Party!


We’re excited to host the McDonald’s #365Black Awards Twitter Party as a part of the 10th Annual McDonald’s 365Black Awards!  The show, given annually to honor and recognize outstanding individuals who make significant contributions that strengthen the African-American community, airs THIS Sunday, August 25th at 11:00pm ET.


Hosted by award-winning actress Taraji P. Henson, the 10th annual awards show will broadcast for the first time on national cable television network, Black Entertainment Television® (BET®). The one-hour program will feature an all-star lineup of power-packed performances by recording artists Erica Campbell, Estelle, Angie Stone, Jordin Sparks, Yolanda Adams and comedian Jonathan Slocumb. In addition, actors Jay Ellis and Omari Hardwick, singer/actress Brandy and singer/songwriter LeToya Luckett, will be among celebrities who will present the awards to this year’s honorees.

The awards program launched in 2003 as an extension of the company’s 365Black platform, which celebrates the pride, heritage and achievements of African-Americans year round.

The 10th annual McDonald’s 365Black Awards honorees are:

  • Beverly Johnson, supermodel
  • Dr. Steve Perry, education leader
  • Kenny Williams, executive vice president of the Chicago White Sox

We love that McDonald’s created the 365Black Awards as a way to recognize exceptional people who are committed to giving back to the community and we commend the company for making community service a priority.

Back by popular demand!  Our Blogalicious Guides were launched back in 2010 with publications from Amy Mascott or and Shannon Nash of Nash Management Group.  And, with the help of our new Guides Coordinator: Pamela King of Still Dating My Spouse, we are ready for Round Two!

Are you a blogging or social media expert? Are you always sharing golden blogging nuggets with your friends? If you answered YES to these questions, we have the perfect opportunity for you to write, get published, and be recognized as an expert in your field.

What are Blogalicious Guides?

Blogalicious Guides are 25 to 30 page ebooks on topics of interest to the blogging industry.  The Blogalicious guides are resources for anyone interested in resource for anyone interested in blogging, social media and marketing.

Why Write a Blogalicious Guide?

Authoring a Blogalicious Guide, you become a published expert on the topic you write about and can share in the sales of all guides purchased from your website/blog.

Submission Requirements

Only the most informative, relevant writers will be chosen to author a Blogalicious Guide.  To apply to become a Blogalicious Guide author submit the following to by August 23.

  1. Provide a title and an overview of your ebook title (no more than 400 words)
  2. Your Bio
  3. A head shot

If selected, you will be notified by August 26. We expect to have drafts of ebooks back to us by September 10.  Please only apply if you are willing to commit to this time frame.  Specific Writer’s Guidelines will be provided to those who are chosen to write Blogalicious Guides.

In addition to submitting your ebook, please submit answers to the following questions:

  1. How have you become an expert about your chosen topic?
  2. How will you promote your Blogalicious Guide?
  3. Why do you want to write a Blogalicious Guide?
